All About The Mogwai…

Well, my new gizmo at any rate.
Say hello to my Dymo450 Label Writer – I decided to buy this after reading a review of it by Jennifer at Fairy Fountain Gifts.

Her really informative product review blog post can be read here.

I’ve never been so excited to get mail. I ordered mine from amazon on Friday and it came the very next day (I made use of the free prime delivery trial). I’ve been really good and have waited until now to actually set it up and use it (I don’t work weekends).

It’s gone up in price a little since Jennifer’s blog post, but not by much as I only paid £53.36 for it. Still a bargain if you ask me. I’m really looking forward to putting it through it’s paces!

It comes with everything you need to start creating your own labels (apart from a PC/Mac):

  • Dymo 450 Label Writer Machine
  • Quick Start Guide
  • Cleaning Card
  • DYMO Label V8 software that provides more than 100 label styles and layouts
  • Power Adapter and cable with UK Plug & European 2-Pin Plug
  • USB Cable
  • 32 x 57mm multi-purpose labels (1000 per roll)
  • 19 x 51mm multi-purpose labels (500 per roll)
  • 41 x 89mm multi-purpose labels (300 per roll)

As you can see in the above diagram (on the side of the box), the unit itself is compact and it really doesn’t take up much space.

Here’s some more shots of it as I opened it (told you I got excited).

There’s not much that I can really add to Jennifer’s review of this product. I think she covers everything and certainly sold it to me! If you missed the link at the top to Jennifer’s blog post, here it is again for you.

I absolutely LOVE it! I do believe that I’ll be labelling EVERYTHING! I’m going to test out some smaller labels too to maybe print some price labels, for when I do events etc 😀
